Coach Lotfi
Embarked on his martial arts journey at the tender age of 7, beginning with Shotokan karate and judo in France. His passion for martial arts continued to grow, leading him to explore Jeet Kune Do. A chance encounter with a young grappling prodigy in 2000 sparked a newfound interest in this discipline, and Coach Lotfi quickly immersed himself in learning the intricacies of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
THE BEGINNING
In 2001 after only 6 months of training, he entered his first MMA semi pro contest with the TKO organization formerly known as UCC where the legendary GSP made his debut.
THE APPRENTICESHIP
In 2002, Coach Lotfi joined the renowned Montreal BJJ Revolution team under the guidance of Koji Murakami, a direct student of Julio Fernandez who is himself a student of the legendary Carlson Gracie Sr. This experience solidified his commitment to BJJ and coaching. Over the next few years, Coach Lotfi honed his skills and knowledge, training in various martial arts disciplines.

In 2009, He went to thailand to study at Tiger Muay Thai to learn the intricate details of the Thai Martial Art.
COACHING LIFE
In 2013, Coach Lotfi established BJJ Ontario in Mississauga, Canada, where he coached students of all ages and skill levels. His dedication and expertise led to the success of many of his students, who achieved national titles and recognition.

NEW BEGININGS
In 2021, following the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Coach Lotfi moved to Portugal to train with Pantera BJJ under Rodrigo Netto. This new experience further enriched his martial arts journey.
2022, he moved to Barcelona Spain and continued his Martial Journey training and competing locally.
Now, Coach Lotfi is excited to bring his extensive knowledge and experience to the United Arab Emirates. He plans to establish Sharjah BJJ, where he will continue to share his passion for martial arts and inspire the next generation of practitioners.
