well welcome back first time fighting in Vegas how does that feel everybody hi everybody I feel really great I’m in a great mood thank you how does it feel to be in the main event you’ve got a big fight ahead of you um what are you looking forward to okay foreign ly we’ll get a poster with my face on it I’ve been dreaming about a poster for a long time and other than that I’m really I’m ready for the fight I’m excited I’m looking forward to it what did you think of the poster designs yeah great poster super what did you think about your opponent when you were given the name is who understood that they were going to give me somebody who’s top rank ahead of me so uh the news were good for me I understood that and I was ready for it you know everybody’s talking about this fight’s going to be the next one to fight for the title um but but there’s a little bit up in the air about who’s going to have that title what’s gonna happen up there what’s your your thoughts on that what about what’s going on with Stipe and Jon Jones foreign only on the fight ahead of me what sort of fight are you predicting from him um I think it’s going to be a great show I think it’s going to be a great fight there’s going to be two fighters in there that are not going to be willing to back down nobody’s trying to give the other person a chance everybody’s fighting for for the same goal so I think it’s gonna be a fun fight it’s gonna be an interesting fight and everybody who Tunes in is in for the show thank you sorry I just wanted your thoughts you know you wait in for the for us 285 I just wanted your thoughts on that fight what did you think of Jon Jones debut at heavyweight it was yesterday um [Music] I think it was a great debut for Jon Jones uh he hasn’t fought for a long time and he won such a such a good opponent so I think it was a great statement that he’s made with that debut everyone’s talking about your your uh your UFC debut against Alistair overheim how he took you down um and Curtis is a really good wrestler but um you know obviously you’ve improved since that fight but um I don’t know was there something in that UFC debut maybe like the the lights the the not experience that uh what I guess what went on in that first fight boy foreign [Music] I’ve been asked this question five ten times before but I’ll say it again I guess it’s acclimatization so uh there’s a lot of there’s a time difference between China and where I was and I didn’t come there on time I I realized from that fight and I learned that in order for me to be in the top shape I have to come to the place where I’m fighting way earlier to get acclimatized how early did you come to Vegas foreign I got here two weeks ahead of time wow awesome and then finally this is the main event big fight how’s it feel to be in your first UFC main event uh um great feeling because this is what we work for this is what you work for your entire life you go into the fact that you’re going to be one day in the lights of the main event this is what you’re working for that means that everything that I’ve done everything that I’ve done up to now has paid off so I feel great about this I don’t feel pressure I feel like this is what’s supposed to be happening thank you just going one question off what he said blades came in here and it made it seem like he doesn’t think you have any sort of takedown defense what is your response to that and if he thinks that you’re only a striker is he making a mistake there uh uh foreign what can I say about it we’ll have a fight we’ll see if you take me down or not Sergey besides being all business do you still get to enjoy this moment you mentioned being on the poster you are on the poster you are in Vegas this is the fight Capital do you still get to take all that in and smile a little bit you made it foreign of course this is great I mean the whole atmosphere the the atmosphere of the five week the atmosphere about the city everything is great I think I’m enjoying it if I’m not showing it I am enjoying it excellent and last for me you’re here at the Apex nice small venue you can hear the coaches you’ll really hear the crowd would you have wanted it to be at T-Mobile arena for the big likes and all that or are you good with this you know just the the way that this is going to be handled business on Saturday here in this you know smaller venue uh um foreign of course it would have been great if it was uh you know a huge arena with lots of lots of Spectators just like in the Coliseum back in the day when the Gladiators used to find a Coliseum and and they get charged by you know the role of the crowd it’s the same way for us but it is what it is thank you sir and best luck on Saturday thank you hey Sergey right here there was a video of you that went pretty viral online everybody was talking about your hand speed you were Shadow Boxing under a pier I just wanted to get a little bit of background on that video like where was it and did you expect it to do the numbers that it did when you had filmed it is montage it was all edited together and um you had talked about the the bonus after the last fight did you buy yourself anything uh anything nice after the bonuses foreign yeah I’m happy that I got the bonus but no I didn’t span it I put it right in the piggy bank why don’t you have a nickname is my nickname to those who’ve misunderstood you throughout your life and who underestimated you what do you want to say right now to make it very clear that you are a professional fighter foreign those people that underestimate me or don’t understand me I don’t care what they think I do this job first of all for myself this is what my life is about I’m a professional fighter and those people that support me and those people that are my fans they understand what I’m doing and those people that don’t those people that don’t care for it and I don’t care what they think thank you
